Position: Load Control Officer
Job Description
Reports to: Load Control Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
• Calculates weight and balance sheet for all flights;
• Prepares loading instructions in accordance with the aircraft requirement;
• Ensures proper Dangerous Goods segregation and quantity limits on aircraft;
• Produces load and trim sheets for each departing aircraft;
• Advises online stations about the load carried on aircraft;
• Keeps a record of flight documentation for outgoing and incoming flights
• Alerts outstations about expected delays if any;
• Liaises with passenger handling Duty Manager, Cargo, Dispatch, Ground handling, Pilot in Command, and Engineers on matters related to aircraft loading and dispatching a flight;
• Makes sure all movements, LDM and SOM are sent timely with accurate information.
• Coordinates with other airlines and other RwandAir sections in regard to aircraft loading and turn around
• Ensures on-time performance by the load sheet delivery on time
• Reports hazards and incidents in Q-pulse
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

Knowledge and Skill:
• University Degree, IT applied science subjects (math, physics, engineering )
• Communication/interpersonal skills
• Professional qualification in Flight Operations, Ground operations or Flight Dispatch
• Speaks fluently English and Swahili

Position: Customer Service Agent
Job Description
Reports to: Branch Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
• Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
• Maintains customer records by updating account information.
• Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
• Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments. Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs. Position: Rump Supervisor
Job Description
Reports to: Branch Manager 
The Ramp Supervisor’s role is to demonstrate knowledge of proper ramp usage, safety, security and demonstrate leadership skills, leading by example. Supervisor must have planning skills and be responsible to assist with scheduling ramp agents. Assist General Manager by overseeing, coordinating and participating in all activities related to ramp operations. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Position: Aircraft Cargo Handlers (Loaders)
Job Description
Reports to
: Branch Manager 
Responsible for overseeing the movement and safety of cargo and baggage on an aircraft. Unload, load, and secure cargo, determine orientation and destination, and complete load plans. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Transfer cargo onto airplanes. 
• Direct ground crew in the loading, unloading, securing, and staging of aircraft cargo or baggage. 
• Determine the quantity and orientation of cargo, compute aircraft center of gravity, and sign the load plan or manifest. 
• Load and unload aircraft, perform preflight and post-flight aircraft checks, and compute weight and balance 
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, secure cargo during flight, and airdrop cargo and personnel. 
• Calculate load weights for different aircraft compartments, using charts and computers. 
• Confer with customers, supervisors, contractors, and other staff to exchange information and to resolve problems. 
• Ensure all governmental regulations, company procedures, and safety and security requirements are followed. 
• Calculate the aircraft’s center of gravity and assess the quantity of cargo. 
• Operate a variety of equipment, including trucks, forklifts, conveyors and baggage tugs. 
• Accompany aircraft as a member of the flight crew to monitor and handle cargo in flight.

Job Description
Reports to:
 Branch Manager 
To assist with operational and reservation functions for the port including oversight of suppliers to ensure compliance to Cathay service levels and regulatory requirements. 
To provide support to port management to drive service excellence and delivery of the cargo services strategy. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Support cargo reservations and bookings whilst providing exemplary customer service 
• Provide vendor notification for on time and delayed flights daily 
• Provide timely shipment status updates to customers 
• Help to manage GHA performance and provide guidelines and instructions 
• Support the established performance targets through operational oversight and participation 
• Prepare flight documentation for crew and Customs 
• Check and review post flight documentation 
• Prepare post-flight reports in a timely and accurate manner 
• Provide freighter catering uplift and last minute changes 
• Coordinate effectively between engineering, airport operations, air traffic control, and vendors to ensure smooth communication and service provision 
• Coordinate cargo service activities between sales, operations and ground handling in order to ensure efficient handling of shipments 
• Communicate effectively via various channels stakeholders including customers, airport and cargo operations, suppliers, flight crew, etc. 
• Assist with various administrative station tasks such as SAP 
• Coordinate weather diversions at diversion sites 
• Handle diversion of Cathay Pacific Flights when required 
• Assist with crew administration and support matters at the port 
• Support station training activities as required 
• Support station management in supplier oversight including reporting GHA performance issues
